Delores | Patterned Knit Sweater

A pattern knitted in behaves differently from one printed on.

Printed knitwear sits on top of a surface that never stops moving, while a knitted pattern is part of the cloth itself. Delores has the design worked into the knit, which is what gives it real depth rather than a flat graphic.

Woven-in geometry. The blocks and the lines are formed in the knitting rather than printed over the top of it. Depth you can actually feel with the back of a hand.

Warm without weight. The knit traps heat while staying light enough to keep on through a whole afternoon indoors. It does not get stuffy in a warm room.

Straight body. It falls from the shoulder without gripping at the waist or across the hip at all. Room to move in and plenty of room to sit down.
